Spring Softball

Softball started this past Friday. Actually, it started 3 weeks ago. The first week was a loss by one run, the 2nd week was a bye week and then there was the 3rd week which was this past Friday. I say it started because for me, it really did just start. Brett, the coach, was having a hard time reaching me because he had my old email address. I heard through the grapevine that the season had started so I called him. He was really happy to hear from me and told me to come on out and he would get me on the roster. Said he needed girls that could throw, catch and hit. That is me! I play left field, have always played left and will probably continue to play left field. The whole team played great except for a couple of errors that cost us big time. Any how, I was really happy to be out on the field again and played very well myself. After the game, I met up with a friend that I have not seen in awhile. We had a couple of drinks and just caught up on things. Saturday was uneventful if you want to call the morning of panic with work stuff uneventful. I will not post those boring work details for you. But trust me, it was a fiasco. All is well now, so don't worry! So the work thing got all worked out and just in time for me to my hair appointment....yippee! Then Hunter, Aubry and I went out for dinner which is always nice. Got home and watched a movie while Hunter and Aubry played World of Warcraft (the best PC game ever!). Not sure what tomorrow will bring. If it is earth shattering, I will post. I have to admit though, it is nice to get up on the weekends now and not have to run around every where! I better be careful with what I wish for. The craziness could kick in at any moment.
