Summer Fun for Aubry

Hunter and I began the long and exhausting search for summer care for Aubry. When we move to Keller, Mary Jo will still be in Fort Worth so we were searching for proper care for the kiddo. Our goal was that we found a place that was safe, reputable, licensed and had proper medical training. But, we also wanted it to be a summer full of fun, new experiences and new places for Aubry. I stumbled on The Keller Pointe yesterday and was thrilled with what I saw. I made a phone call and got the parent handbook emailed to me. To make a long story short, this place is a huge sports complex that caters to adults and kids alike. They have so much stuff to do that you should never get bored. They have tennis lessons to guitar lessons to volley ball teams to flag football teams. I cannot even begin to summarize it for you. The important thing is that Aubry will be cared for and will have an awesome summer. They offer summer camp for ages 6 to 12. Each week is a different theme with a field trip to a place relating to that weeks theme. An example would be sports week where they go to Ameriquest field where they play baseball. Another example is variety week where they make a trip to Six Flags. It sounds really cool, the price is right and Aubry is really excited about it. We are going out there this Saturday to check out the facilities, meet the people, look at credentials and just over all, check it out. With any luck, we will be reserving a spot for 8 weeks worth of fun for Aubry!
