A while back, I was searching on the internet for .... material. Mary Jo turned me onto an ebay seller called fabric guru. I ended up ordering our living room/dining room material for curtains through them. The best part, you actually get what you see online! Meaning, the colors are dead on. I have been very happy with the other 2 purchases I have made through them so far. I discovered that fabric guru also has a regular website so I spent a while searching through all the pics for Aubry's room. We spent quite a while looking at the comtemporary/retro section and found something that Aubry went pretty much "nuts" over. I thought it was real cool so I ordered it. It came in and it is perfect! I took a sample of it with me while I was out shopping yesterday. The pinks and greens are harder to match than I thought they would be. So far, I was only able to pick up a couple of pillows and a super soft throw (blanket). I also found two very retro chandeliers that will work really well in her room. They are silver and have a mesh netting on the inside which I plan to change out to a sheer lime green. The paint will be no problem since they color match at Lowes and Home Depot and I already have ideas for the walls. Just need to run them by Aubry to see what she thinks!
The builders have put the sheet rock up in the entire house! We met some friends for dinner last night who also wanted to see the house and area since they are in the market, sort of. So, we decided to have dinner out there so we could drive right over the house. I was pleased to see the sheet rock up. From what I understand, once that happens it is usually 45 days 'til completion. Hunter will be out there tomorrow to take some pics which I will post as soon as I get my hands on them. We are hoping to have a driveway by tomorrow too.
Last but certainly not least, HAPPY EASTER! Hope it was a good for every one. We spent the day hanging out and playing games. Gave Aubry an Easter basket with some goodies in it. We are planning to have a nice dinner with Mary Jo and family unless of course she worked really late last night. If that is the case, I am already prepared to make dinner for the 3 of us here at home.
