The weekend is finally here. And it started with a bang, literally, if you consider bangs to be like huge claps of thunder. Storms rolled through here pretty fierce right after I got home from work. Tornadoes touched down on parts of town that I drove through on my way home from work. Luckily, I was already in the comfort of my own home when that happened. Hunter was at his mom's house to pick up Aubry and decided to stay put until the storms passed. They were moving so fast that it was not long before he was home. We headed back out to get some dinner and roam around Target for a while. I have been wanting to get Joss Stone's new CD so we went there specifically for that. It is pretty good CD. I am listening to it as I type! I think you would like it, mom.
Hunter did manage to make it by the house after work, before the rained came. He snapped a ton of pictures. I picked out just a few that I thought would be best to post. We have texture now which means the paint should be going on soon. There is a pile of doors in the garage so I imagine that those will go up once the painting is done. The dirt has been leveled in prepartion for the sprinkler system and then sod. So, things are just clicking along. Just a matter of time...which we are all ready for it to pass quickly!
