In spite of the insurance agent not getting the paper work right the first 2 times it was sent to the lender, we are still on for Friday. Whoo Hoo. We will begin the agonizing task of packing up and getting our plans together for Friday after the signing and moving day on Saturday. We have a plan for both days and are sticking to it. Still need to buy our fans which we plan to do on Thursday night or Friday after we sign. Either way, we will have them to install on Friday.
Saturday is Aubry's birthday and I realize we are moving on her big day. I did however give her the option to hold off moving one day so we would not be doing it on her birthday. She said, "no way, I want my new room." I may have mentioned that already but I am mentioning it again. So the plan is to have the movers come on Saturday (early) and still make plenty of time for dinner out and card games back at our house with the big family clan (All of the Barbosa's, the Reid's and the Meier's). We will not be settled in the house by any means but we will have the furniture in place and access to games and cards. Of course I will have cake and ice cream and drinks for every one. It will be fine. I actually look forward to it.
