This weekend has been awesome so far. We WON our game on Friday. The entire team had a blast playing and we all performed very well too. That always helps. Saturday was spent grocery shopping, curtain shopping (at stores and online)....and what a beating that is. I hate spending the money and I think I am getting frugal in my old age. But I also want things to look really nice. So I am biting the bullet and paying the prices to get curtains for the house. In my venture out today I had much success with the front room, our room and the media room. It is difficult to find exactly what I need because the windows are not the standard length of 84 inches. I need the next size up and most places (that I have found) do not carry what I am looking for. Any how, let me end the boring curtain talk there. After the house visit we had a very nice dinner at Salt Grass Steakhouse. And we made our traditional trip to Best Buy and left there empty handed. Shocking, I know. So here we are at home now playing on the Wii, the computers, watching Suko play with a dangling string...
I am looking forward to tomorrow. Aubry and I are headed to Mayfest in Trinity Park to meet up with Vanessa and Marissa. (Marissa and Aubry have been friends since kindergarten.) Marissa will be performing at the festival with her gymnastics team and she really wanted us to go. I have not seen her perform yet and apparently she is really good. She made Junior Team already and is only 9 years old. I think that is a fantastic accomplishment and I look forward to seeing her. I hope to get some good pictures of the events. Of course, I will share them! Check back later, just in case.
