It has been one week that we have rested our tired little heads on our pillows in the new house. I must say, it is quit comfortable. Aubry is sleeping well and has settled in to her new digs very nicely. (I have yet to paint in her room and get all the new linens and curtains in place, but that will come in time.) As for Hunter and I, we are settling in nicely as well, even though we are not sleeping in our room yet! That will happen this Thursday when our new stuff is delivered. All in all, we are very happy here and are just ready to have all the little projects done and out of the way. The media room, computer room and master bedroom are the most disshelved right now. I have a feeling that it will remain as such for a couple of weeks yet.
We did manage to get curtain rods hung, ceiling fans installed, garage door opener installed (actually Hunter did the ceiling fans and opener....I helped a little). The media room is coming together as far as the components and speakers are concerned. The couch for that room will be delivered tomorrow. It will be great to have a place to sit in there! I can only last so long sitting on the floor. The other project that I completed was the dining room (front of the house). I painted the accent wall a nice deep blue and outlined it with an off white decorative cording. I will take a pic and post later...but that will be after the curtains are up in the room which may happen this week.
So all in all, we are doing well and it is back to work for me tomorrow. Booooo.....
