You would think with a title like "Patio Dining" that this would be the most interesting blog describing a very cool outing that I had. Well, it is sort of like that, but not quite. Let me just say that the last 2 weeks at work have been ridiculously busy. We have had non stop rain with flooding (not in our house...but various areas of North Texas) for days/weeks now. It has become a bit a depressing because we cannot get outside to do anything. Well this Friday, there was a break in the clouds, the sun came out and dried things up just enough for me to enjoy a lovely lunch on the patio with some friends. A fellow co-worker/friend and I met some people from our old job at a place called Mimi's Cafe. It was very tasty and the company was nice! There was just enough breeze outside for it to be comfortable and I was able to finally chill out a bit and catch my breathe from the last 2 busy weeks.
Today, a friend of Aubry's is coming over to spend the night. We are going to go see a movie and have dinner at some cool place. I just don't know where that cool is gonna be yet. Then we will come back to the house and let them run around like idiots! They are good at that! Tomorrow, a couple of Hunter's friends are headed this way to hang out and have a gaming day. This is something that the guys do from time to time. I think I will join them. I hardly ever do because it is their thing, but not this time! I am gonna crash their gaming party!
Next week, it is painting time. Finally. I am determined to get Aubry's room done. And when I do, it is going to look awesome. (that was me giving myself a premature pat on the back!)
