So Close to Completion

We worked all weekend on Aubry's room and things are coming along spendidly. The painting is done, the chair rail is up (almost). There are some very small pieces that need to be cut yet and I still need to get after it with the spackle and touch up paint. The curtains are in the process of being worked on and the pictures still need to be hung. But, I would say the hardest part is done. And I must admit, her room is going to look awesome. Cannot wait for the finishing touches.

In other news, Shannon and Andy closed on the sell of their house this past Friday. She stopped over this afternoon on her way to back Kansas (it really is on the way!) and we had lunch at Anamia's. It is a great Mexican restaurant with the best fish tacos. Any how, she did not stay long because she still had a five hour drive ahead of her. It was still nice to see her, even if it was for just a couple of hours.

I hope to post pics soon of Aubry's room so stay tuned. It is going to be great and worth the wait, I think.
