Stupid and weird stuff

This weekend was just full of stupid, weird stuff. I met LaBrett for some shopping on Saturday and let me just say...I was really out of sorts most of the day. The only thing that went in my favor is that I got to my first destination with no problems. Everything else from that point forward was a complete mess. LaBrett got an early start that morning so I met her at the SouthLake Town Square. The reason I bring that up is because we were in seperate cars and drove ourselves to every place there after. My trip to the Best Buy, right next to a mall I have been to several times, resulted in me going Northbound on the freeway instead of Southbound. I was actually headed to work of all places. Obviously I was on auto pilot. So, I turned around and got in the vacinity of the mall. I turned too early and ended up having to back track to find my way to the Best Buy. Our next stop was the mall in which parking was horrible. I found a spot that made me so uncomfortable that I could not bring myself to leave my car there. So, I backed up and was on the hunt for another spot. We got through there and then decided to meet for a late lunch at a place I have been to several times. We were both starving and that point I was almost shaky. So, I pull out of the parking lot, get into the far left lane only to realize I was over one lane too far. I tried to get back over but that was a no go. So, I was headed in the wrong direction once again. I called LaBrett to tell her I was sorry and that we should try to do lunch another day. I can only imagine what was going through her head. LaBrett, if you read this, I am terribly sorry. My mind was not where it should have been (there are real reasons for that I might add). I promise the next time we go out, I will not be so scattered. My mind will be on the events of the present and not focused on the nasty two weeks that lies ahead for me.

On another note: THE COWBOYS WON....barely I might add. I went into this game just knowing they were going to stomp all over the Lions. Well that didn't happen. Not even close actually. The Lions were up the entire game. The last drive of the Cowboys resulted in a touch down which won them the game. The Lions came out looking so good and I actually feel a little bad for them for this loss. Okay, not really! 12 and 1...GO Cowboys. :)
