Jumping Back on the Bandwagon

Many of you who know me know that I enjoy working out, I try to eat healthy and take a little pride in my appearance. Call it vanity or whatever you want. I see nothing wrong with trying to live a healthy lifestyle. I do it for me, I do it for my family. I think it is important for my daughter to grow up strong and healthy and live a happy, active life. With that being said, I have been off that bandwagon for a few weeks now. I feel sluggish, sloppy, tired, etc. After reading my friend Liz's blog and seeing that she put herself out there for all to see (regarding weight, working out, etc)...I am following suit and putting it out there as well. I am getting back to my routine, getting back to my healthy way of eating, getting back to running. If this new found energy results in a few pounds lost, then so be it. So there you have it, I am putting it out there and hopefully this will make me feel more accountable.

So today, I got my butt to the gym during my lunch hour. I worked on the eliptical and burned about 250 calories. I did some weight lifting and then made my way back upstairs to finish my day at work. I felt good. I felt awake. And don't worry, I am not going to turn my blog into "What I ate today" or "What muscle group I worked on today".

Peace out.
