Fabric Stores and Sushi

Not exactly an interesting mix to most people...however, for me, I dang near broke out in hives when I stepped foot in the fabric stores. I had LaBrett with me so it was not as bad as it could have been! I actually had a very valid reason for going into such an environment. I am on a mission to get the media room situated once and for all. Part of that includes some kickin' pillows for the couch. I cannot find anything that is pre-made that works with my vision. So, I figured the next best thing is to make my own. LaBrett sews and she said she would help me out. So, we went to the fabric stores first and then headed out to have some sushi and martini's afterwards. I am sure the burning question now is: "did she actually find what she was looking for at the dreaded fabric store?". To which I will answer, YES! I had to special order my stuff, but that is okay.

The evening ended at Shogun where I had the best dirty martini. Not to mention, the sushi is fantastic. I left very full and very sleepy! But, I was happy.
