Happy Easter! (tomorrow!)

And Happy Birthday to my best friends daughter, Stefanie, who turns 17 on this day!

Saturday was spent shopping for Easter stuff to be honest! It snuck up on me this year. I am not used to it being so early in March and before I knew it, I was making plans with Mary Jo to have dinner over here...and then it dawned on me, Easter is THIS Sunday. I better get to shopping for dinner and a basket for Aubry. I am terrible, I know. But what can I say, things have been more than just busy lately. And this week of vacation was a welcome change of pace. I was not on anyones schedule but my own. And let me tell you, I was NOT a clock watcher! So anyhow, we had Easter dinner early because Hunter is traveling to Minnesota in the A.M. on Sunday. Yuck. I hate when he is out of town, but we will survive as we always do! Aubry and I will get into something I am sure. And LaBrett did mention keeping us company on one of those days. If she can great, but I know she stays busy too. As for the rest of weekend, Hunter and I had a date on Friday...with each other! It was gorgeous outside so we did spend a bit of our time outdoors, which was nice. He even let me hold his hand! Sweet, I know.

I am looking forward to next weekend. Hunter comes home for one and we are also spending Saturday night at a "friends" house. I say friend, because I have not met these people yet but have been looking forward to meeting them for a while now. They are people Hunter works with and apparently they are anxious to meet Aubry and I as well. Aaaaaand, it is my birthday weekend! Whoo Hoo. 36, here I come!
