Inspiration
A friend of mine has vowed to post to her blog every day in the month of December. I have been reading her posts and find them interesting. It offers insight into her world, offers some good advice for those that need it and helps you realize you have been raising your children wrong (have to read the post to understand!). So it got me to thinking about my blog. I traditionally post about events, things going on in my life and the life of my family. The intent of these posts is to keep my family and friends, who I don't see regularly, up to date. Granted, my posts have been far and few in between these last few months. I suppose you could say that I have been consumed with other things and have not taken the time to post like I used to. Maybe I started thinking my posts were boring. Perhaps it is because I am not a great writer and know that there are some who would judge my lack of writing abilities. I realize I shouldn't care about that but when you put your thoughts out there in word format for all to read, it can be a hit to the ego when you are criticized about it. Another thought is that maybe posting every day would convey too big of ego. Again, shouldn't matter. I should just roll with it and post whatever and whenever I like. So Shannon, you are my inspiration and I am going to give it a go.

Yea, so happy to hear that!
I've had a couple of people tell me this. I must lack the gene that makes me insecure about people criticizing my writing or frequency of posting because frankly, it's my blog and I'll do whatever the hell I want with it.
I can't wait to read what you write. :)
I will eventually get to that point where I don't care if people like my writing style or not. For now, I care! Wish me luck in December.
