First Post

This is my first real attempt to maintain a blog. I had a myspace...it fizzled out. And quite honestly, it became more a "teenage" thing or a place where adults try to hook up. It was just not for me. So maybe this will work out better. Besides, I never went to it and if I want my family to read about what is going on, this is probably an easier way. So here I go. I am sure it will be lame to the outside world but hopefully, my family will find some use for this and will enjoy checking out the blog from time to time.
