Something other than just packing this weekend.

The weekend was pretty busy with doing more packing and finishing up the little things that we said we would take care of as a result of the inspection. We are done with all of it now. Well except for a couple of thing we noticed that we would like to take care of for the new home owner. These are more visual things than inspection code breaker type things. Over all, that part is done and now we wait until the closing date of March16th. We are in process of getting things together for the stinkin’ garage sale we are having next weekend. The house is in shambles right now. There are boxes all over the house. Some go to storage, so go to the apartment, some are garage sale items that need to be tagged. It is pretty messy right now and I would hate for anyone to see it! I would be too embarrassed even though everyone knows we are in the process of moving out of there. The packing and repairing and tagging of garage sale items were not all that we did this weekend. We did go to a new restaurant that was recommended to me by a complete stranger that I met a couple of weeks ago at Piranha’s. The new place was not bad but it was not great. I love the sushi at Piranha’s and this person said that another place in Fort Worth had great sushi. So, I managed to talk Hunter into going. The selling point for this place was that they had a Hibachi grill. That told Hunter that they had more than just sushi. I did order the sushi. Both Hunter and Aubry had their meal cooked on the hibachi grill which was really cool to watch. Overall, the food was not bad, the experience was not horrible, but I will not go there again. I will continue to go to Piranha’s when I feel the need to for sushi. And speaking of, Hunter did try a tuna roll. He did not care for it, but at least he tried it!

Another cool thing that happened this weekend (well it was cool to me….)….Hunter put my stereo in my car. I have had the stock stereo in there since I bought the car. For Christmas, Hunter bought me the dash kit specifically for my car in order for me to have an after market stereo there. So, he took my car apart last night and put in the dash kit along with the stereo. It looks great, it sounds great and I am so thrilled!! He put a cable in that I can hook my iPod up to so I have alllllll of my music at my finger tips. So cool! I am ready to rock out to some Prince on my way home from work!
