After a very stressful couple of weeks at work, I decided I needed a day to just chill. So I took yesterday off and it felt great. Hunter had a mini vacation as well so we were off together. We decided to take Aubry to camp and we spent the afternoon shopping, having lunch and just hanging out together. That is something we do not get to do that often so it was nice. I picked Aubry up early from camp so she could get her weekend started as well. I know she enjoys camp for the most part but I also know that she is not too fond of getting up early to go. She will get a break pretty soon though when she spends a week or so at Nana's! There is a lot going on at the end of the month actually. I have a week of training and a trip to Boston that fall within the same 2 weeks. Aubry will be spending some of that time with Nana. And Melissa is coming to see me! She will be our first out of town guest. She will be here on the 18th of this month. We do not have each day planned out but we will go to have sushi one night. I must introduce her to Piranha's. We will probably spend some time in South Lake Town Square. It is a really cool place to just hang out, shop and people watch. Okay, so my work free Friday ended with a softball game. In my opinion, it was the best game we have played, no joke. But the stinger is that we lost by one run. We had last at bat since we were the home team, but we just couldn't pull it off. Generally in recreation softball, you have one team that dominates. I know that when I look around at the score boards on the other fields, I would usually see something like 17 - 5. Or 12 - 3. It has been that way for as long as I can remember. Any how, the team we played last night was a lot of fun to play. There was some great competition there. We all played an awesome game but like I said, we just could not pull out the win. The final score was 5 - 4. Ugh.
Tonight is a date night for Hunter and me. It is strange how we rarely get to have time together like this. And here we are getting two days of together time! Aubry is spending the night with her Nana. She has not done that yet since we moved and I know they are having withdrawals. This is something that has been planned for a while now and I know Aubry cannot wait to see her. So my day will start off with going by the old house to pick up some mail (yes some mail is still going there and I have put a change of address in twice now...but I do believe that it is mostly junk mail that is still going there). Any how, I will get the mail, grab Payton for like an hour to do a picture thing (or we may just wait to do that next Friday when she spends the night), take Aubry to Nana's and hang out for a bit, head over to my dad's to chat for a while, then head home and start my date with Hunter.
