I honestly woke up this morning still wondering how the Cowboys pulled off that win. It was the most frustrating, ugly, painful, head scratching, most entertaining Monday night football game I have ever seen. There is really no place to start with summarizing this game. There were some bad calls in my opinion, 6 interceptions that turned into 2 touch downs for the wrong team, last minute (strategic)time out called to shake up the rookie Cowboy kicker. The Bills came into this game to win and the Cowboys under estimated their determination. By all accounts, the Bills should have won that game. They outperformed, outthrew, outkicked and outplayed the Cowboys. But in an awesome turn of events, the Cowboys scored a much needed touch down, but missed the 2 point conversion which would have tied the game. They came back to gain possession of the ball in the on side kick and won the game with a 53 yard field goal, by a rookie! Not once, but twice this rookie had to kick the career long 53 yarder. The first attempt was good but the Bills coach called a last minute time out, micro seconds before the ball was snapped. I understand it was a strategic move on his part, probably to shake up the rookie. It didn't work! He came back on the 2nd attempt, and did it again. In the end, it was a huge upset. The Cowboys are 5 and 0 for the first time since 1983 and the Bills are waking up this morning wondering what the heck happened.
And boo hiss to the defender who intentionally ripped off Romo's helmet. Undeserved and mean spirited.
