A well deserved glass of milk for a hard night of trick or treating!!
Last night was very different from the Halloweens of the past. The one major difference was the neighborhood. Every other house really got into the spirit by decorating their yards, entry ways, drive ways, etc. Our old neighborhood did not really go all out with the decorating so it was cool to see people get into the spirit here. One really cool house was the one that had a graveyard complete with the "bodies" coming out of the ground. A lot of the houses were complete with the spooky music, the black lights, haunted entry ways, etc. I will have to post pics later because I am work and don't have access to the camera! Any how, Aubry met up up with a bunch of her friends for trick or treating. There were about 7 of them, 2 of which ran off to do their own thing. So in the end, there were 5 girls going house to house. I really think this is the last year for trick or treating for Aubry. She loves to dress up and did have a good time but the whole idea of getting candy from all the houses with lights on is growing old on her! Either way is fine with me. But I think I am ready to stay home one year and scare the crap out of the kids as they come to the door!
