Last nights party was a success. We had about 20 people show up for our catered fajitas from a fantastic place called Cadillac Cantina's. Federico, our caterer was excellent and we will be using him again for parties in the future, big or small! The only thing about last night, no pictures worth posting. Darn it. A lot of them are the back of people's heads...thanks Hunter! :) There was so much that went on that to summarize would require a very long post. I will say, every one thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I have to admit, I did grow tired of going up and down the stairs to mingle with the guests that were scattered through out the house! We had some outside chatting, there were some rippin' it up on Guitar Hero on the Play Station. The pool table was used pretty much all night, the kitchen was full of people going back for 2nds and some 3rds on the food. The drinks were flowing, music thumping, people laughing, etc. It truly was a great night. I know for a fact though, there were some people I did not get around to hanging out with a lot. I tried hard to make sure I spent equal time with every one, but I fear I failed miserably. Kelly and I did take off briefly to get some more wine and when I returned, Kathrine was already gone. I was sad I did not get to thank her for coming and say good bye. Monday at work, I will grovel and hope that she had good time in spite of my absence when she left.
Sunday morning, Hunter and I woke up anticipating a large mess to clean up. That was not the case. We have very clean friends that found the trash cans to put their cans, bottles, plates, etc. I was very happy to see that our cleaning was pretty minimal. And, I do NOT have hire a carpet cleaner! No drips, drops, stains, nothing! Whew!
