Merry Christmas!!!
We all went to bed pretty late after a late night of card playing and what not with Hunter's family. That is why I was very surprised to see Aubry come bouncing down the stairs at 9:00 in the morning. She had less than 7 hours of sleep and for her, that is not a lot! But, I took into consideration that it is Christmas and she is just very excited to open her gifts. What 10 year old kid isn't, right! So, Hunter and I got some coffee, Aubry played Santa and passed out the gifts from under the tree. I always enjoy watching her open her stuff. She is so thankful and grateful that it makes it fun and easy to buy for her. She got a ton of clothes which requires a fashion show to make sure everything fits. She got a lot of items from her wish list too, so that made up for all the clothes she got! (I am 75% guilty in that area!). After we oohed and ahhed, we had something to eat and then chilled out for the rest of the afternoon until we had to head out to Weatherford for the rest of our day. We spent the rest of our evening at Eric and Jayme's house doing our "Chinese Christmas", which has become an annual tradition. It was hilarious and probably something you would not appreciate unless you were there...but a few of the guys had to turn in their man cards for some of the gifts they ended up with! We played cards and Scattergories (which I must buy now). Had to make it an early night though because Hunter had to work the next day. Our drive is now almost an hour since moving to Keller! Yuck! But it was fun night regardless of the long drive home.
I am sure someone at Eric and Jayme's has pics they can share with me so I can post them. We did not bring our camera so I personally don't have any to post. Sorry.
