Comedy of Errors

It is Monday night and I am finally getting around to blogging about that blasted game played by the Cowboys. The first quarter was painful to say the least. It was a comedy of errors, so much so that it made me wonder when the circus and football joined forces. Many people are (based on other blogs I read today)doggin' on Tony Romo. For those of you that watch the games, have you not noticed that the entire team is sucking pretty bad right now? The chemistry is gone, the lackluster attitudes and performance have taken over. It is sad really. I love to watch football and I love to watch the Cowboys, but dang they suck right now. It is not just Tony Romo. It is everyone. And to say that everyone is sucking is not an exaggeration. There are some huge play makers on that team. I would say some of the biggest in the league, but you would not no it after their performance this whole season. They may be 4 and 2 right now, but most of those wins were squeaked out. You can't win on squeaking by. And we all know how Dallas does in December. If they are squeaking by now, imagine what will happen in December. And now we have to deal with Old Man Johnson for the next few games. He is like an oak tree, feet firmly planted. He is not mobile, he is slow and not at all exciting to watch. Don't get me wrong, I love Dallas and I am a fan through and through. I am just venting. I want the team back that was excited to be on the field. The team that made the big plays and looked like they had a blast doing it. Bring back the backyard football and just have fun with it. Hell, just play the entire game as if it were 2 minute drills the entire time. The no huddle serves you well. Tony, won't you step up and be the fun loving, carefree captain of yesteryear? You are the moral booster. What happened to you and T.O.? And you and Witten. You seem gun shy to throw the ball any more? Is it your OL keeping you down? Sit down with them over beer and get this crap back to normal. Please? Do it for your fans and that blasted Super Bowl Ring that many of the players deserve.
