Halloween Social

Tonight is the Halloween Social at Aubry's school. This year, because of her passion for World of Warcraft, she is dressed as an evil mage/sorcerer/wizard type. The one thing I was not able to get to as part of her costume was to color and straighten her hair. As for her makeup, I tried to make it dramatic but I am not so sure I was very successful. You can certainly tell she has makeup on, but I am not 100% satisfied with it. Aubry on the other hand loves it. Tonights event is full of food, contests, games, dancing, etc. There is some DJ that is supposed to be "spinning appropriate songs". (At least that is what the weekly newsletter said.) They are having a Guitar Hero contest which Aubry is completely stoked about. She is really good at it and I guess the top score wins a guitar. Not sure if they mean a Guitar Hero guitar or what. If it is a Guitar Hero guitar, that is making the assumption that the kid who wins it will actually be able to use it. Can't use it if you don't have the game. So tonight, I am solo for a little while. Aubry has gone off to the school event with her friend Hope (who is her evil fairie minion by the way), Hunter is in Boston and Suko is off sleeping some where. So it is just me.
