Kat: My mom says I can come 2 ur bday party. What do u want?
Aubry: I don't really want anything. Having my friends there is enough for me.
Kat: Really? Okay, but what if my mom says I have to bring something?
Aubry: How about card that says Happy Birthday? Technically, that is bringing something!
Kat: lol. okie dokies then.
Does that mean that we (mom and dad) are off the hook for buying our daughter something!? I am kidding of course. I just thought it was very cool of her to not be so gift driven when it comes to her party with her friends. I guess we have done something right.
