Here is a little bit of history on how we came to our decision on the floor plan. We originally went to the community to check out two floor plans that we saw on their website. When we walked into the sales office/show home, we loved what we saw. So, we took a few minutes and looked around. Aubry took off upstairs and came running back down to grab me and take me back up to show me “her” room. To make a long story short, we loved the show home. It has everything we want in the way of space, layout, etc. We did make some modifications and additions to the floor plan. We decided to move the wall in the closets between bedroom 3 and 4. Bedroom 4 is the room Aubry chose and bedroom 3 will be the guest room. We decided that Aubry needed a bigger closet so by moving the wall, it will provide her with more closet space. We are also removing the wall that is dividing the study and the dining room. We want that to be one big room which will become the formal living/dining. The garage will have a two foot extension which also extends bedroom 4 out 2 feet. We chose to have the bath tub removed from the master bath and have the shower extended. It will have dual shower heads and a bench that runs the length of the shower. Upstairs, in the game room, we are having a wet bar added on the wall that separates the media room from the game room. I think that is it. Let me end this by saying that I hope you do not get sick of reading about this house! This blog will have a lot of house stuff on it as we go through the process. We are just so excited and want to share with our family and friends.
