Ice in Texas?!!

What do you do when you wake up to freezing temperatures and rain on a Saturday morning? What any other redblooded American would do......bake cookies! Okay, that is not the first thing I did this morning when I discovered the cold weather had settled in on Texas. I got dressed and ran some errands actually. Picked up Aubry's new lenses, got cat food, went to the grocery store. You would have thought we were getting snowed in for a week the way the grocery store was packed today. I know, your wondering why I was there then! I was there because our kitchen was empty. We actually needed the food. I did not go to the store in a panic of not being able to leave the house for 7 days! I found it quite humorous actually. So, any how, I did do something constructive today. I managed to make some head way on my closet in anticipation of getting ready to put the house on the market soon. Hunter and I have an appointment with the design center on Tuesday and an appointment with the realtor on Wednesday. Of course, I will keep you posted. But for now I have a fire to sit in front of and some home made chocolate chip cookies to eat!
