Looking forward to the short work week...

...because this week has been super long. Our client has been here all week. The visit is a much needed one but it means long days stuck in a conference room with windows covered in a dark shade to keep the world out. I have been getting home late every night and have not been able to do the things that I need and want to do. However, this is just a temporary thing so by next week Wednesday, these long days will come to an end, until next time of course. Not to mention, it is a short work week since the 4th of July is on Friday. Yippeeee! Looking very much forward to that. I am not sure what the plans are for this 4th, but I have a feeling it will involve LaBrett and Gene and their kids some how. Or it could involve Hunter's family but I am pretty sure mom will be working this weekend. That is her normal schedule any way which makes it difficult to see them. We do the best we can though. So any how, today brings more of the running program which is a 40 minute cross training on the bike. Then tomorrow is my next 5 mile run. I only hope to finish and will not focus on time. I will not focus on time. I will not focus on time. And speaking of running, I am headed out this afternoon in an effort to find a certain pair of socks that Nike makes. I have been having trouble with blisters and even though moleskin has helped tremendously, it is not a 100% fix. So, I spent a little bit of time researching socks. Just like running clothes that wick away sweat, there are socks that do the same thing. I am in need of socks that will keep my feet dry because sweaty feet is in part to blame for my blisters. Isn't this an exciting topic! Any how, I am now determined to find these socks that 100's of people gave a 5 out of 5 review on. All of the reviews said something like, "after my long run, my feet were dry." Enough feet talk....I am going to ride my bike for 40 minutes now.
