Gearing up for the weekend

This weekend, Hunter and I are having a little party at our house. We had one back in October and people have been asking when we planned to have another one. So, we decided to have it this weekend. Tomorrow night, I will be heading to Wally World with LaBrett to pick up the food. I usually don't like going to Wally World, but in this case, I will make an exception because I know I can get a lot for my money. And believe me, with the number of people we are expecting, we will need a lot of food! One of the cool things about this party is that I will get to see an old friend from high school. How this happened was through myspace. Awhile back I set one up and found a few friends from high school. I have been talking to one of them, Leslie, off and on for a few months and I decided it would be fun to invite her to the house. So, I did and she is coming with her husband. It will be cool to see her and to meet the hubby.

This week at work has been a whirlwind as usual, but it is a fun whirlwind believe it or not. I like the stuff we are getting into right now. I know that the coming months will be crazy, but I say bring it on. I can handle it. With work being crazy, my evening runs have been good for the soul. I have been able to decompress and clear my head so that when I get home from my run, I can just chill and not have a million things running through my head. Unlike last night (which was not a running night), I found it difficult to fall asleep. My mind was thinking about work stuff and then I ended up waking up at 3:00 a.m. (again) with work stuff spilling out of my head. I really hate when that happens. I need to figure out a way to clear my head before I lay down to sleep. I did run tonight, so we shall see if it worked...

Aubry will be headed to her Nana's on Saturday to spend the week. This is a non camp week for her and I know that she is ready to spend some good quality time with Nana. I am too though! I miss her too and wanna go swimming and do all that fun stuff they do. Maybe some day I can do that. We should try to plan something...right Mary Jo?! If only the work schedules were not so opposite. sigh

I am out of here for now. Until next time...have a great night.
