Barbosa Family History
Aubry has this big project that is due on Friday. They are to put together a report of sorts which is about their family history, so I thought. I re-read the instructions with Aubry over the weekend and it turns out that the history part is finding out where the family name originated. The rest of it requires the student to put together, at a minimum, 6 pages detailing certain traits of that country. (i.e. economy, entertainment/games, language, etc.) We headed off to Michaels (MJDesigns) last night to pick up all the necessary items to make her project shine. $35.00 dollars later, we were headed home with all the items she found. When we got home, she started in right away on the drawing of the family crest. The cover is to include the county flag or the family crest along with a family photo. Once it started coming together, she was pretty excited about it. And the cool part, we have learned a lot about the Barbosa Surname with all of the research we have been doing. I will share some of the highlights some time this week.
